Each piece carries the first name and last name of the person who receives it. The symbol of your logo is added, engraved next to the name. We laser-engrave from 15 pieces, and our graphic designer prepares the engraving file free of charge.

Each piece is made by the Laguiole en Aubrac workshop in Espalion (Aveyron, France), of which Laguiole Export is the exclusive online retailer.

What we engrave on each piece

  • The recipient’s first name and last name: 25 characters including spaces (22 on a corkscrew). Different from one piece to the next if you wish.
  • Their job title, if you wish, on a second line on folding knives: 20 characters including spaces, for example Senior Manager.
  • The symbol of your logo: a monogram, a letter in its frame, a simple drawing.

These lengths go beyond those of the single-piece engraving offered on the website.

Why the text of your logo is not engraved

The engraving area of a blade or a corkscrew lever is narrow. For a complete logo to fit, it has to be reduced, and the text around it becomes too small to read. So we engrave the symbol alone, at a size where it stays sharp.

Not engraved:

  • text placed above or below the symbol: company name, tagline, line of business;
  • logos made of lettering only;
  • complex drawings: only a simple drawing can be engraved.

This is a physical limit of laser engraving at this scale. It applies to every order, whatever the quantity.

Not included: Damascus blades, one-of-a-kind pieces, sheaths and sharpeners sold on their own.

How an order works

  1. You open your access to trade prices and send your request with your logo.
  2. Our graphic designer prepares the engraving file. We send you the proof and the quote.
  3. You approve the proof and the quote.
  4. You place your order and pay in full.
  5. If the models are in stock, we ship within 4 to 6 days, depending on the quantity and the models available in stock. For dedicated production by the workshop, allow 4 to 5 weeks, up to 7 weeks between October and December.

Trade prices

Our volume prices and the benefits reserved for orders from 15 pieces are available to registered businesses.

Included with every order: a black faux-leather sheath and a cotton pouch with each folding knife. An oak box, a cotton pouch and a black faux-leather sheath with each corkscrew.

No VAT outside the EU. For EU countries, VAT is paid by us under the OSS scheme.

Confidentiality

We never publish the engravings made for our clients. Your logo and the details of your order are used only to produce it.

What is the minimum order?

15 pieces in total. All engraved pieces carry the same logo.

Can I mix several models?

Yes. The 15 pieces can combine any models of the offer. All engraved pieces carry the same logo.

In which format should I send my logo?

PNG or SVG.

And for fewer than 15 pieces?

Logo engraving starts at 15 pieces. Below that, the engraving of a first name, a last name, a date or a symbol remains free of charge on every knife on the website.
