Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within fourteen (14) calendar days, without giving any reason. This period begins on the day after you receive your order.

Products excluded from the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised. Engraved knives and made-to-order products therefore cannot be taken back, exchanged or refunded under the right of withdrawal. Only the legal guarantee of conformity can give rise to after-sales service for a defective product.

Under a new European requirement, Directive (EU) 2023/2673, which has applied to all online shops since 19 June 2026, you can now withdraw from your contract directly here, throughout the statutory period of fourteen (14) days.

This form only applies to orders placed on laguiole-cutlery.co.uk.

We will send the acknowledgement of receipt to this email address.

These three details must all relate to the same order placed on this website. You will find them all in your order confirmation email. Purchases made from another seller, in a shop or on another website cannot be processed here.

Return and refund

If your withdrawal is valid, you will send the product back to us no later than two (2) days after we have confirmed to you that the contract dates are in order. The cost of returning the product and any customs duties are your responsibility. If the product is sent from a country outside the EU and we have to pay customs duties, these will be deducted from the refund. We will refund the purchased product no later than fourteen (14) days after receiving it back in perfect condition, together with all the documents supplied with it.
